As the world’s population continues to grow, so does the need for increased crop production. As growers are continually asked to produce more with less, there is an immense demand for new technologies that yield greater production at a lower cost. Currently, U.S. growers spend approximately $23 billion annually on agricultural machinery with more than $2 billion being spent on spray equipment.
Each year, in California alone, thousands of growers apply more than 100 million tons of chemicals. The vast majority of these chemicals (more than 70%), miss their target and are wasted at great expense to growers and the environment.
GenZ’s technology uses an air-assisted tunnel design to introduce air into the crop allowing for deeper penetration. The focused spray surrounds the crop while our tunnel design shields material from the wind, offering a greater concentration of on-target spray. Our technology also uses pressure equalization under the hood to significantly reduce drift. While our equipment is capable of dispensing maximum chemical volumes, growers may also choose to dial down to lower label concentrations while maintaining effective coverage. This results in a reduction of excessive refills, fuel consumption, labor outputs and maintenance.
GenZ for Row Crops
GenZ’s row crop sprayer utilizes air to assist in opening up the crown of the crop resulting in deeper penetration of material. A 180° spray radius coupled with our air technology helps deposit material on the sides and underside of the crop. This sprayer is available in a front or rear hitch mount. The number of beds is customizable to growers’ needs.

GenZ’s strawberry sprayer utilizes a 240° spray radius with our patented air assisted design to penetrate dense canopies providing superior interior and underside coverage. This sprayer is available in a front or rear hitch mount. The number of beds is customizable to growers’ needs.
GenZ for Vineyards
GenZ’s vineyard machine is a two row, hard shell, hitch mounted sprayer. By encompassing the crop with a 240° spray radius and our air-assisted design, we can effectively penetrate the interior and underside part of the canopy.
