GenZ Technology is excited to announce its participation in the 2014 Silicon Valley Agtech Conference, which took place in Palo Alto, CA on May 12. Grant Thompson, President and CEO, and Bill Coy, VP of Business Development, were in attendance.
The conference was hosted by Silicon Valley Agtech, with the mission of bringing together agricultural technology companies, investors, and industry insiders, to discuss current trends and future technologies in food production and supply chain and distribution management.
GenZ was one of eleven companies selected to “pitch” their technology to a panel of venture capitalists and angel investment groups during the conference. Each of these companies was ranked on nine different attributes, including: product, market, and value. The response to GenZ’s technology was extremely favorable; of the eleven companies that presented, GenZ scored 1st in several categories, and ranked #1 overall.
“We were thrilled by the response from investors and industry leaders to our technology and our business model,” said Thompson. “The positive feedback we received reinforces our belief that we have developed valuable technology that addresses significant industry needs.”
